Watch me Scale my Digital Product Shop to $250K in 2025
The official playbook and debrief for after hours friends only.
I have some audacious goals for 2025. To name a few…
Write more—something meaningful.
Build a community of women who share similar values and visions.
✨ Sell $250,000 solely from low-ticket digital products in 2025. ✨
The solution I saw to achieve all of the above with consolidated efforts: Chronicle my journey live in hopes that as I execute more, I write more, therefore inspire others to do the thing they say they want to do.
This is the place where you stop by after hours to hear the behind the scenes play-by-play of strategies, progress, roadblocks, outcomes, and more.
Before we get into the details of what and how I plan to achieve the above, let's reflect back. How did we land here?
The business I built, then burnt down.
If you’re new here, the SparkNotes of my recent years is that I built a micro messaging, marketing, and copywriting agency out of a freelance career. It consistently brought in 5-figure months and I managed a small team. I booked those projects months in advance and had retainer clients I loved working with. All while I personally worked up to an average of 15 hours each week. This business model was also the reason why I was able to take 2 paid maternity leaves in 2 years. By all standards, it was successful and growing.
I was the marketer for the brand, the salesperson, the team lead, the coach for my copywriters, copy chief, and lead strategist… Among other things. Despite refining my systems and hiring a team that was beyond supportive, there was still a lot on my plate.
But right before my second baby was born, I realized all that isn’t what I want. Even with condensed hours, all of the above took a lot of my brain space.
The notifications were what got to me the most. ClickUp nagged me daily, stacking up as soon as I cleared it. My Gmail updates tab piled up with Google Doc edits and comment flags I needed to deal with. Voxer pinged all day and night since everyone worked across time zones.
Even with all the boundaries and systems I put in place, the amount of peopling I needed to do, often from my phone, was a lot. So many people relied on me for good answers, asap.
So I burnt it all down… At least, most of it.
The day I woke up with no big projects booked, no retainers to deliver on, and no messages from the team, I felt relieved.
Lighter than I had felt in years. Like when you coast to a crawl before the red light, knowing you're not in a rush, and it’s going to change to green again soon anyways.
As a solopreneur again, I’m more free than ever.
So here we are, rebuilding. Now, partially in public too even though it feels vulnerable. And it’s extra exciting because this time around, I want to bring you along for the process.
But this time, I’m determined to build something simple. Truly freeing. I need it to be okay if I can’t get to my desk every work day because in this season, that’s not always possible. With 2 little boys to raise, and my role as primary parent during work hours, I don’t always get that focused time.
So as I set my goals for 2025, I turned my attention to my digital product shop: The Biz Bar… Also, ~The Untapped Potential~ in my business. This shop has been the smallest portion of my revenue for years—I’ve never taken the time to go all in with marketing for it. It’s been a playground to experiment, but mostly sold slowly without much attention.
Historically, my opt-in rates, cost per lead on paid ads, and sales page conversions are above average for various products in the shop, but I never truly focus on selling these.
The realization: What kind of quantum leap could be possible if I gave the shop the attention it deserves?
That’s where we’ve landed. The core pieces are there. Now it's time to turn on the tap.
And because I don’t half ass anything—go big or go home—obviously, this is the perfect goal to make a challenge out of. Why not bring others into the journey too? We’ll all get to learn as we go.
The Challenge: Scale my digital product shop to $250K USD in 2025
We need rules for my audacious goal to scale my digital product shop sales to $250K USD. Here they are…
This total revenue will not include any consulting or coaching fees collected, done-for-you work, or affiliate income. Just my own IP in the form of paid content like self-paced courses and digital downloads.
My regular email list will be where the selling happens—that’s the main sales channel. My Substack publication will be the backstage ticket to the show.
This goal is focused on total sales. Not profits after expenses.
What to expect from this series: An unfiltered play by play of everything I’m doing to achieve my sales goal, progress updates, and results. Things like…
My marketing and sales strategies, including consistent progress updates and outcomes with hard data.
Sales data, including revenue collected along with conversion rates within my funnel.
Funnel breakdowns, and updates to optimize.
My personal time tracking to show how long it truly takes to grow and scale a business like this.
Mindset sh*t that might get in the way, and my progress to overcome it.
I plan to share 1-3 updates each week, as appropriate. Like I won't say sh*t to say sh*t… It has to be a legit update.
Despite how much I value transparency, something this vulnerable (and valuable) can't be free. Here’s why…
I can't share the inner workings if my business on the internet for everyone to see for free. That would be dumb.
By subscribing, you get immediate access to a living case study with detailed strategies you can replicate and try within your own business. That's wildly valuable.
Women deserve to be paid for their work, and this series is going to take work to do well. I don’t need to document it in this way, but I know others will learn from the ideas, journey, and data presented.
Hopefully, this will be the motivation or inspiration you need to set and work towards a goal just as audacious. That’s also worth something.
Above all, I'm approaching from the perspective that this is an exercise in enjoying the process. Like I said, it's a live case study for you to learn from. Let me show you how a regular person can do the thing they set their mind to.
Maybe it could also be classified as a masochistic experiment. Who would do this so publicly? Even I’m questioning my sanity. 😂
At the very least, it’s a form of accountability for me as I finally give my digital product shop my focused attention.
Upcoming in January 2025
To give you an idea of what the F this is going to look like, here’s what I have planned for the first few updates in the new year:
My revenue planning process including monthly breakdowns.
How I’m going to maximize average order values from the beginning.
A map of backend automations I have set up and want to add.
Lead magnets that are working, not working, and why.
When and how I’ll leverage paid advertising.
Specifics of my organic marketing strategy for Q1.
Throughout the year, I'll invite questions from subscribers as well.
Build the room if you can’t find one that fits you.
There’s an energy about getting in the room with the right people. My biggest growth over the years has come from both getting in the room and committing to scary goals. But sometimes, you need to create the rooms you’re craving—in part, that’s what this is.
All of you who choose to participate are my kind of people looking fear in the face and getting in the room despite it.
If any of the above sounds intriguing to you, you should subscribe to see what’s in store.
Even if we don't know each other yet, thanks for reading and growing alongside me. I'm so excited to share what I learn while working toward this crazy big goal. This is going to be fun. 🤍
